SEED & SOCIETY

FROM THE TRAIL

I want to be honest about something. I do a lot. I work a minimum of forty hours a week in my full time corporate career, and now I'll be traveling at least monthly, likely more in my new role. The work I do there is exhilarating and important and aligned with my mission of A.I. adoption. Then I come home to two young children, and run this.

Agents are not completely set it and forget it when you care about your words and what you have to say. Thought, word, action. The basis of all cosmologies in basically every culture. Since I care, I read every newsletter before it goes out. I read every podcast script, even if it's a quick skim. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. So more doesn't go out than does, which is kind of wild when you think about how much I publish (2 newsletters, 2 podcast episodes, 3 youtube videos, 2+ Linkedin posts, and 21 shorts/reels across 3 platforms A WEEK.)

I also give myself more work than most people think is possible 🫠

A.I. energizes me. Helping people have more resources energizes me. Freedom to think and say what I'm feeling is energizing. It's also draining. It's not either/or, it's and. Both things true at the same time.

It’s why the vision for EverFreely™ has evolved from just a dashboard into a portable tool that travels with you across the web, so you're never chained to one system to apply for the money you're leaving on the table. More on that in this week's episode. It’s SO good y’all, and coming soon, but you’re also are free to build a custom version that makes sense for you now in Claude Cowork or Lovable. I’m anti-gatekeeping, this is folks that want a more automated experience, or aren’t even sure where to start, I got you.

Ruthlessly prioritizing is also why I'm deciding to let my A.I. video clone live as shorts and quick videos rather than as long-form video right now. Are the long-form videos an improvement from the entire first season of my podcast? Yes. But I know what top quality looks like, and the technology will catch up in a month or so.

Right now I can put out forty plus shorts automatically with thirty minutes of my time and that's just not the case with the long-form version. So I'm letting the shorts run and waiting for the video tools to meet my standard. See an example of a shorter video with my Heygen clone below, still lots of value but only 10 minutes of my time. And if the short video can also make sense without a visual they’ll be added as bonus episodes to the podcast.

That's the Connector Method™ in practice. Take the action. Read the evidence. Adjust.

THE MAIN THING
Stop romanticizing the grind

I need to say something that I think a lot of people in this audience are carrying and not talking about.

There's no glory in the struggle bus. There is nothing noble about not knowing how you'll make it through the month. We love to romanticize the grind, especially for women, especially for Black women. It keeps us stuck. It keeps us performing sacrifice instead of building wealth.

It's ok to bet on yourself. It's also ok to get a job if you need to while you build. It's ok to pivot if the business isn't generating the revenue you thought it would. It's ok to restructure your offer completely and call it intelligence, not failure. Very few things are zero-sum. The truth always holds nuance.

You can have a full-time role and a side build, especially with AI. You can be strategic and aligned. I’m fortunate that I have a new role that genuinely excites me, and I wouldn’t have taken it if it wasn’t work I loved. You can want generational wealth and that doesn't make you greedy, it makes you someone who decided to stop settling for what was handed to them.

I say this because the A.I. conversation has an undercurrent that nobody names. There's a version of this space that wants you to feel behind. Wants you to feel like if you haven't quit your job and gone all in on an A.I. startup, you're somehow not serious. That's manufactured urgency designed to sell courses to people who aren't ready for them.

The real play is slower and it lasts longer. Build infrastructure that runs. Build assets that compound. Build a brand that people trust because you showed your work, not because you performed certainty from a mountain.

And if the business model you started with isn't working, change it. It’s easier than ever with AI tools, you can literally build a business in a day (I technically did with EverFreely™). That's not quitting. That's the Connector Method™. You took the action. You gathered the evidence. The evidence said pivot. So you pivot. That's the whole framework.

There is a version of your life where the money is right, the time is yours, and the options are real. Getting there is allowed. Wanting it is allowed. Building toward it is allowed.

MORE MONEY, TIME, & OPTIONS

This Week on the Podcast

Seed and Society is now available in five languages. English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Hindi. Listen here or wherever you steam your podcasts.

Every episode is culturally adapted for the audience, not translated word for word. The cities change. The cultural references adapt. The voice is still mine, rendered through my ElevenLabs Professional Voice Clone. Same thinking, same framework, new languages, more people who can access it in the language they think in. Best part, it's 90% automated through APIs with Claude Code. I read all of the podcast scripts quickly after I feed my voice note in, then Claude translates and rearranges them, sends them to ElevenLabs, renders them with my voice clone (so it's still my cadence in another language), and then sends it to my podcast hosting platform, Captivate.

This was possible because I applied for and received an ElevenLabs startup grant. Thirty-three million characters of voice A.I. over twelve months, free. The grant is open to startups and small companies with fewer than twenty-five employees, rolling applications, no deadline. I know at least two other people who have received it. If you're building anything that uses voice, whether it's a podcast, a voice agent, a course, or a product, apply at elevenlabs.io/startup-grants. The worst that happens is they say no and you're exactly where you are right now.

If you speak Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Hindi, or it's your native language, take a listen and let me know how it sounds. Just reply to this email. That feedback means more to me than any analytics dashboard.

Episodes that Dropped this week:

How to Make More Money, Working Less — The three shifts that break the ceiling between your revenue and your hours.

Agents, Chatbots, and the Difference That Matters — A chatbot answers questions. An agent completes tasks. If you tried A.I. and walked away unimpressed, you used the wrong category of tool.

🛠️ One Thing To Do Today

Open Claude Design and build something.

Claude Design launched DAYS AGO. It lets you create prototypes, landing pages, pitch decks, one-pagers, and mockups from a text description. No design skills. No Figma. No templates.

  1. Open Claude. Click the palette icon in the left sidebar.

  2. Type: "Create a one-page landing page for a [your niche] consulting firm. Include a headline, three services, a testimonial section, and a call to action."

  3. Refine through conversation. Change colors, adjust layout, update copy.

  4. Export as PDF, HTML, or send to Canva.

You just produced in fifteen minutes what used to take a designer a week. Now imagine offering that to a client.

You’re not late, you’re actually early.

How'd I do this week?
