SEED & SOCIETY®
FROM THE TRAIL
I asked and y’all responded that you wanted classes from me, so I created the More Money and Time™ Labs! More info on that below, but first…
The newsletter is going back to weekly, now every Sunday. Doing two a week is not for the faint of heart, and I want every issue to be impactful, helpful, actionable, and actually give y'all something you can run with and sink your teeth into. This is also my baby, I spend more time on this than almost anything else in my content systems, but it’s because I care. And to everyone that’s been emailing and interacting, thank you 💚
The new format goes like this. I'll still share something from my week, whether that’s what I'm seeing, a trend I'm tracking, or a thing I built with A.I. Then you'll get a list of grants and non-dilutive funding, including speaking opportunities, fellowships, and scholarships. You'll always have the roundup of the podcast, because now it's coming out three times a week minimum with just so much FREE education. Listen while you workout, drive, clean, chase your toddler around the house. They’re only like 10 - 20 minutes long, but give you steps you can take in your business immediately. And we’ll always close the newsletter with something actionable, like a Skill to build, an agent to make, or a prompt to run.
You’ll still be hearing from me constantly, I do drop fifteen podcast episodes a week now (across the five-language network), three short videos a day across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, plus LinkedIn when I have something to say. Everything I share is about how to create more money, more time, and more options for service-based business owners with AI, automation, and asset-based systems thinking. If that's what you're here for, you're in the right place.
You'll start getting more videos too. I have a backlog of about fifteen 3 minute long educational videos I made with my HeyGen clone, but I'm not even a little interested in posting them manually, so I'm building the pipeline that drops thumbnails, show notes, and the videos themselves straight to YouTube on autopilot. When it's able to run without me, you'll see them.
Also I’ll be in Indy this week speaking at Mic Drop Live! Find me there if you're going.
Happy Mother's Day to every mother reading this, every person who's been mothered well, and every person who's mothering themselves through something hard right now. I see you.
THE MAIN THING
More Money and Time™ Labs

Last year, I took a lot of courses and programs. And I realized through that experience that a lot of them don't get done. That's not just me. The data says most online courses land below 15 percent completion. Cohort-based courses with live Q&A and peer interaction? Up to 85 percent. The live layer is what makes the difference between buying something and finishing it.
The one that stood out to me was Mic Drop Workshop. And the reason is that I started with a live bootcamp going into it. Then I had the course, but I knew I was going into the Academy after, so I went through the course and stuck with it because I knew I had the implementation component coming. The course stood on its own. It gave me the information, the steps, and everything I needed for a specific outcome, which was to become a paid speaker. The live wrapping is what got me to finish.
That's exactly what I'm capturing with the More Money & Time™ Labs.
You can get everything you need from the asynchronous pre-recorded labs I’m creating. It'll give you the step by step. It'll have the videos, the walkthroughs, the theory, the information. But in quick bite-sized pieces, so it can be done in a matter of hours rather than days.
But the real magic, and it's what y'all asked me for, is the workshop. Because something happens when you're live and you have Q&A and you're walking through it, and any of those pieces where you get a little bit confused or a little lost or don't know what's going on, that's what the live portion helps with.
To be very clear, the live is optional, but is highly recommended and automatically included with every track. We’ll be going through step by step to make sure you have that outcome at the end. Not just thinking about it, not just the pieces, not just theoretical use cases of how to use AI, but the execution and the accountability layer to make sure you have the transformation by the end of the day.
Here's the lineup.
Foundation: Business Brain
The five-category documentation system that makes Claude, ChatGPT, Google Gems, and every A.I. tool you use sound like you on the first try. Build it once, use it everywhere.
Build Your Speaker Booking Engine
The system I use to find events, draft hundreds of personalized email messages, and follow up in less than a weekend a month.
Podcast in a Day
Build your voice clone, your video clone, and the production pipeline that turns one voice note into a podcast, a YouTube video, and a week of clips. Same architecture I'm running for Seed & Society™ in five languages.
Build An Agent Fast
The first session builds the SEO, AEO, and GEO autonomous Blog Agent, the same one running on my site right now. Comes with the async step-by-step course. Topic rotates by session. Add-on, since you have to build your business brain first for this to work right.
The Complete Build
All three builds bundled. Details on the page.
VIP Day or VIP Weekend
One-on-one with me. We build your specific stack live, customized to your business. Includes a complimentary audit of your entire business with custom recommendations on where A.I. gives you back the most leverage and which A.I. employees to hire first. Thirty days of async support after.
The live cohort may not run again after this founding run, but the community, recording, and async labs are lifetime access. All sessions are during the weekends or evenings CT.
GRANTS & OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
$155k on The Table This Week
Seven non-dilutive opportunities open right now: six grants and pitch competitions plus an open TEDx call. One closes May 15. Two close May 31. The other four have rolling submissions.
Small Business Hero Program (Phase 4), Intuit + Mailchimp
Award: $20,000 | Deadline: May 15, 2026 | For: US small businesses in the 50 states + DC making a community impact
Five days to file. If a Hero application has been sitting in your drafts since the last quarter, this is the issue that gets you to finish it.
Amber Grant, WomensNet
Award: $10,000 monthly + $50,000 year-end | Deadline: May 31, 2026 (then the last day of every month) | For: Women business owners, US and Canada
The monthly $10,000 grant runs on a calendar-month basis, so apply this month for May's pool. One application also rolls forward 11 months for the rotating Business Category Grant if your business fits the month's category. Monthly winners are entered for the $50,000 year-end. The move is to reapply every month and stay in the rotation.
Fast Pitch 2026, Women Founders Network
Award: $55,000 in cash grants ($25,000 per track winner + $5,000 Junior VC pick) | Deadline: May 31, 2026 | For: Woman-owned US businesses with under $750K outside funding, must attend October 21 in LA
Two tracks, tech and non-tech. Service-based businesses apply to the non-tech track. The grants don't dilute equity, and you walk into a room of investors at the end. The application takes a couple of hours. The room takes a year off your warm-intro cycle.
Hey Helen Grant, Visionaries
Award: $10,000 | Deadline: August 30, 2026 | For: Women-owned (100%) US for-profit businesses under $1M annual revenue
Mission-driven, women-owned, under a million in revenue. Application-only with a $15 admin fee, no pitch deck or stage required. Just file the form.
Stevie Awards for Women in Business 2026, Stevie Awards
Award: Recognition, press coverage, "Stevie Winner" credentials, NYC gala | Deadline: Nominations open this month | For: Female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run, anywhere in the world
The world's premier honors for women in business. Winning translates to press coverage and credentials you carry for the rest of your career. Categories fill up. Get in early.
Small Business Digital Ready Grant, Verizon
Award: $10,000 | Deadline: Rolling, reviewed monthly June through December 2026 | For: For-profit US small businesses, must complete two free Digital Ready courses first
The two free courses are the gate. Finish them once and you're eligible every month for the rest of the year. Ten businesses get selected each round. Six months of chances from one afternoon of work.
TEDxJacksonville 2026 Speaker Call, TEDx
Award: A TEDx talk on the main stage, professionally filmed and distributed through TED's network | Deadline: July 31, 2026 | For: Speakers with one clear, insight-driven idea worth spreading
A TED-affiliated stage with a long deadline and one of the larger TEDx audiences in the southeast. The application asks for the talk idea, not a finished script. Worth the hour to apply if you have a worldview that compresses into a single argument.
EverFreely™ will be launching to founding members in June, Alpha testers will be in it this week or next. It helped me apply for most of these grants in an hour, but required a bit of iterating. I’m working on making the experience as seamless as possible for y’all, and to get the process down to minutes. It’s coming though and it’s a game changer. No matter what you should be using AI to complete these apps this week!
MORE MONEY, TIME, & OPTIONS
This Week on the Podcast

Ep 12: The New A-to-Z
The old service delivery model had 26 steps, and every one of them billed your time. A.I. collapsed it to a handful. This episode walks through redesigning your offer after a sales call so you can say yes to a client at a different price point without lowering your premium tier.
Ep 13: Build Your Business Brain Once, Use It Anywhere
Stop re-explaining your business to A.I. every time you open a new chat. The five-category documentation system that makes Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, all sound like you. The voice and brand document is the one most people skip. It's also the one that makes everything else work.
Ep 14: How to Get Found in 2026 (When the Search Box Is Now an A.I.)
SEO, AEO, GEO. Three search games running at the same time, and most service-based business owners are only playing the first one. The full landscape of where your clients are searching now, and the five visibility moves that work across every format.
🛠️ One Thing To Do Today
Build a chatbot for your website using Claude Cowork. I shipped one for seedandsociety.com this week. The build was simpler than I expected, and the receipts are sitting on my homepage right now.
Open Cowork. Hand it your website URL, your tone reference (or your top three blog posts and your About page), and your offer pages. Then tell it: "Build a chatbot widget for my site that answers visitor questions in my voice. When it can't answer, capture the visitor's email and forward the question to me. Deploy it as an embeddable widget I can drop into my site."
A developer would have charged you at least two weeks and $2k. Cowork did it in an afternoon on a $100 a month plan. The chatbot answers visitor questions in your voice, captures emails when it can't, and keeps working overnight.
Until next time, Continue planting the Seeds for a better Society
— Makeda
Forward this to one service-based business owner who's been telling you they're going to build their A.I. systems for the last six months and still hasn't, or anyone you think can use this 🦋
